Your Do it Right directions say "Start with a clean, dry floor." What is the best way to accomplish this?

As an alternative, you can clean your floor with warm water with a small amount of dish soap in it, and rinsing twice with clean water afterwards. Be sure to use as little water as possible on wood floors so you don't saturate the wood. Or simply dry sweep with a microfiber cloth to pick up all loose debris from the floor surface.
